So I recently started leveling samurai,does anyone have a list of great katanas you cannot buy from the auction house (either from nms or quests) that are useful for leveling?

Canero or w/e from south gust at the top of vomp hill drops a rare/ex Sam sword, lv 10. He's a sheep so tanky but I'm sure lv 15-20 could kill it easily.

I'm sure any gear guide from the 75cap days could give you this info.

Sukesada is a level 66 R/Ex G. Katana dropped by Shii in Bostaunieux Oubliette. I don't remember if it's 100% drop but I got it on first kill and the NM was just up and wandering around when I got there.

Sort of piggy-backing on this with a question:

Is Soboro Sukehiro considered a best-in-slot item if you have it, or do higher DMG G. Katanas quickly outclass it?
I'm in no way implying it's better than relic G. Katana of course, I'm just curious if there's any purpose to upgrading from Soboro to something else outside of carrying a backup high damage G. Katana for 2hr usage.
Also, as far as I'm aware Hagun doesn't exist here either, otherwise that'd be better than Soboro I'd assume.

Forgive me in advance for making any inaccurate assumptions or asking a stupid question, as I've never actually played a melee job in any high level capacity. Always have done mage types.

Soboro is very powerful but also very situational. Most will use Soboro /RNG and be able to spam Sidewinder instead of GTK WS since Soboro is lower damage.

Please don't put yourself through this hell.

Soboro has uses but on Nasomi, /RNG isn't one of them.

Shinsoku/Onimaru(currently unavailable so you'll be paying a lot) are the best GKs you can use at 75 currently. Nana's will be removed sometime in the near future so I'd suggest staying away from those even if they are 2nd BiS and almost as good as an Amano.
