OK so fairly new to SAM on here but after hitting 75 i began equipping for my WSs the way I recall from retail and by that I mean stacking the crap out of str. I recently got a number of people who told me that str mods do not work as intended on Nasomi and that atk stacking was teh way to go even for SAM WSs.
I've been switching gear over to more +atk focus but I can't say the results seem better. Does anyone on here know what kind of information there is available to compare atk vs str on here for SAM ws?

STR 1st Attack 2nd for Yuki/Gekko/Kasha, Attack 1st STR 2nd for Kaiten. That's been my best results.

Obligatory question since we’re on this topic elsewhere- do you WS (YGK) in sea gorget or torque? I have heard arguments that makes sense both ways because I have no idea how the gorgets are coded.

I haven't done extensive testing like I did with the STR vs Attack but I've noticed Gorgets are more consistent. Haven't looked at top #s vs avgs and all that jazz though.

Appreciate the reply, thanks! The info on ws mods is quite helpful too. I may ask to pick your brain about tp sets once I finish Amano.

Better get that 6hit with Amano

On Nasomi I’ve played jobs I didn’t have at level cap on retail. So my knowledge of SAM then was limited. I google a lot of info from era, but it also helps to check with experienced people because Nasomi has some differences. I’m assuming SAM’s work with 2 TP sets depending on whether AM is live?

It's also just rough getting a pair of hachiman hands at the moment. I never paid attention to how reliant on ENMs that piece was in terms of mats on retail because Viridian Urushi was so abundantly available. With no ENMs on Nasomi though, the only way to get them crafted is getting molybdenum from Jormy.

I have a pair of nq hands that I TP in now. Does the Relic want HQ?

I also have feet for my 5 hit polearm build that I never use haha.

I really wish Nas would roll out the ZNM's soon anyhow- -we need some content.

Depends on the STP in your WS set but my build requires Hachi Kote +1.
