This is my first time getting merits on a SAM. Wanted to know if anyone had a general order of priority for what to merit? Thanks in advance! |

After that it kind of depends on your access to gear and the content you do. You will eventually want to merit all of the following: Store tp x5 Meditate x5 Overwhelm x5 Open blade bash (1 level) I’m certainly no expert but I went GK, store tp, overwhelm, 1 blade bash, meditate. This was as a general order because I hopped around a bit. Like 3 levels of overwhelm, then on to meditate because it was cheaper, then back to overwhelm. I also did one level on shikikoyo (spelling may be wrong but share TP) b/c it’s useful at HNM fights. Some people also like the zanshin one but I haven’t hit that yet. I also dropped some into polearm but honestly they’ve been my least useful (on SAM) imo. They will shine when I finish WAR from 37 to 75. I tend to stick to GK on SAM because I enjoy all the skillchain access I have with YGK. |
