Good evening everyone, I just started playing a week ago, so I'm still really new. I plan on using Dragoon as soon as I can unlock it. I'm currently level 6 warrior, and I've been saving up to buy a Bronze Spear. I was curious if it's alright if I start Leveling Polearms at a early level so when I unlock DRG I'll have some proficiency in using them as far as weapon skills. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you very much. |

war will perform better with a great axe due to higher natural skill but once you're level 30 war you can slap a spear on and kill some really easy stuff to give your dragoon a nice headstart. Once you start playing dragoon in exp parties your spear skill will be pre-capped from a handful of spear kills as warrior and should stay capped from then, on it's own. |

I totally leveled polearm along side gaxe. In valk when your in parties, if your fighting a mob weak to piercing (Like the flies) its actually better damage with acc food than gaxe is. But against other mobs, like lizards, you wanna use your gaxe. Polearm is very nice on this server, but its up to you how you wanna play on your warrior, as long as you dont sword and shield it most parties will enjoy having the class. |

I always suggest capping polearm and critical hit merits before even unlocking drg. You won't regert it. |

+1 to the idea of polearming flies, just make sure you spend like 30 min solo skilling polearm first or you’ll be missing too much to keep it leveled as you go. |
