Looking for some clarity on Summoning Skill and what happens when you have skill over cap.
I hit 60 and got my Evoker's Horn with the +5 Summoning Skill, my first piece with this attribute.

I read that every point over cap you have grants extended duration of buffs i.e

30 Sec buff: +1 sec for each point over cap

60 Sec buff: +2 sec for each point over cap

90 Sec buff: +3 sec for each point over cap

180 Sec buff: no increase

I tested:
Hasteaga and Ecliptic Howl and there was no increase as expected
Rolling Thunder 120 Sec buff and there was also no difference
Glittering Ruby 90 Sec buff no increase.
Crimson Roar 60 Sec buff no increase.

Does Summoning Skill over cap not matter on NAS? Should it be skill over cap of your current level or does it only kick in at lvl 75?

That was sept, 9th, 2010

"The following blood pacts have had their effect duration lengthened:
Hastega / Crimson Howl / Frost Armor / Rolling Thunder / Lightning Armor"

"The following blood pacts have had their effect duration lengthened commensurate with summoning magic skill, regardless of whether or not the skill has been increased to its maximum:
Shining Ruby / Glittering Ruby / Hastega / Crimson Howl / Frost Armor / Rolling Thunder / Lightning Armor / Ecliptic Growl / Ecliptic Howl / Noctoshield / Dream Shroud"

The duration increase with summoning skill over cap was added 10/19/2006. This was the same update that added Hasso and Seigan to SAM and separated Blood Pacts into Rage and Ward. This adjustment is very much in the ToAU Era.

Can't remember all the ones that were included in 2006, but the ones the OP mentioned were added to the list in 2010

Yeah, sucks there's no list in 2006, but...

Here's the wording for 2010(http://www.playonline.com/pcd/verup/ff1 ... etail.html):

I guess that doesnt necessarily mean they all were upgraded in 2006, but it seems likely. What I really want is the added accuracy on bprage though.
