How are summoners right now on nasomi? I have always wanted to play one and wanted to know what kind of demand are they in.

Are they still wanted and requested in groups, good damge? Yes I know I can make my own group but still nice.

Seems like alot of post that I read where all over the place in regards to how smn are.

Thanks guys.

I build 99% of my parties because I'm too impatient to sit and LFG but I'd guess SMN can be hit or miss. You're not going to get invites to xp parties at the rate a SAM DD would because you're still at the mercy of your mp, but you'll probably be chosen over a BLM most of the time. Rolling Thunder on Ramuh (@ lvl 31 I think?) is particularly helpful to the party, especially if you have MNK, THF, NIN or other dual wielders in your pt. They'll see a big damage boost from this. Unless this weekend's patch has nerfed it, starting at lvl 65, you can do SMN burns in the ToAU areas for good xp but you'll need to have the Diabolos avatar. I'm on 62 still, so haven't quite made it to this to know if the patch nerfed it, but I haven't seen people complaining so I'm guessing not.

I can't speak to end game personally, but they seem to be well desired considering how many 75 SMNs I see wandering around lately.

Smn is very strong in exp parties, learn your skill chains and you will be set.

This. SMN has access to every single skillchain attribute. [s]Level 2s start at 65 with Eclipse Bite and[/s] your strong ones before that are all closers for Level 2s (Burning Strike, Double Punch, Double Slap).

Edit: It seems that some of the level 70 blood pacts don't have the skillchain attributes they are supposed to. Need to test more.
