Just joined the server earlier this week and a friend of mine and I are wanting to get our solo on. We're debating both going BST for obvious reasons but then I remembered that BLU was at one point considered a decent solo job. Since it's literally been 10+ years since I've played, I'm curious as to some opinions/theorycrafting on this idea. Would a duo with BST be viable, and if so, what kind of sub-jobs, etc.

Other people might tell you BLU is great, or about other options.. The fact is, if you want to duo cool shit with your friend on Nasomi.. BST is far and away the best option.

You'll want to level WHM, NIN, and eventually THF for farming as subjobs.
