| Post subject: | any tips to learn blue mage spell ? |
hi, i wanted to learn spells in their level order kinda. starting with sandspin, i was able to get the worm to do it 3-4 times but my character doesn't learn anything so i was wondering if you had any tips or something. i'm using red as a sub so i can dia and cure. i'm a bit disapointed that the learning success rate isn't 100%, it's already a pain as it is to have the mob do the right skill. |

The number of times the mob uses it doesn't matter. Once it uses the mob dies you will have a chance to learn it once the mob dies. Make sure your skill is high enough to learn the spell, and get you AF gloves at like 56. Beyond that, just be lucky and/or patient. |

Quote: Make sure your skill is high enough to learn the spell but i can't rise my skill without any blue spell, right ? and i think i can be patient, but it's like if i'm too high level compared to the mob, doesn't it lower the chance i have to learn the spell ? actually i'm maybe level 6, maybe i should just level up and try to learn spells later ? dunno. |

Really low level spells don't have a blue skill requirement |

Use Pollen to keep skill capped and save that Dream Bell and the +1, to later feed TP with a 1 damage weapon. Rest is luck. Still not convinced the AF gloves did anything to help learn the spells. |

I didn't took the bell, i guess i should, i'm just using hand-to-hand. I just try to have very long combat, sometimes i have the mobs doing its spell more than once and that help i think. |
