End Game Corsair Requirements

Post subject:  End Game Corsair Requirements

Hello everyone. I almost have my Corsair to 60 and unfortunately have to put it on pause to level another job to 75 since apparently cant do a Maat fight on COR. I wish I would have known that prior to sinking so much gil and time into it. So, I decided to continue to sink more gil into RNG to 75 first.

With that whiny rant over, I would like to ask some of you more experienced CORs for some advice. What is completely necessary Gear wise for end game for COR? I understand all dice and the following subjobs: NIN, WHM, RNG. Are there any other SJs necessary? Should I level BRD for another sub?

Is Quick Draw useful on end game mobs? If not for the damage at least the additional effects?


Since I know I have plenty of time to wait to level it I want to just do my best to make it completely prepared when I get to end game.

/whm is the only one you will use for endgame

QD damage calculation is incorrect and it’s too difficult to get unresisted shots off so it’s oretty much just using shots corresponding to elemental dots like burn. The accuracy is requirement is too hard. There’s a theory I have that nasomi has it coded like a magic ability such as a BLM spell (thunder IV) which is making it so difficult to do actual damage.



Well, that is a bummer. I wonder when if ever he would take a look at that. Do you also use WHM for Dynamis runs?
