Has Nas ever been so MIA for so long before? Looking back on the Announcements page, this seems to be the longest radio silence in years. I know there's the easter event but that really doesn't count. Population has not only stopped growing, but is now dropping according to the Server Trending chart. Anyone heard anything from Nas or was the ranger patch the straw that broke the camel's back? |

Are you attempting to stir the pot? Lol he's been battling RMT have you not seen the server announcements? edit: also your comment about the server population made it sound like it's a big drop, I don't see it that way. ![]() |

No, I'm pretty sure he's just asking the same question that everyone else is. If you want a good laugh, head back to the ToAU roadmap post. |

Asking a serious question, because there was a verrry evident change in behavior after the ranger patch. He went from promising weekly update streams to help his members be more informed and with some personal things into 2+ month MIA. Not trolling, not instigating, I'm expressing serious concern to be discussed. It's not a spike drop, it's a consistent drop which has reached about 7% from the start of the graph. I drew that same line as you, and in terms of net change, going from growth to shrinking is a big net change. i.e. Going from an increase of 50 members per week to a decrease of 50 members per week is a 100 net swing, which creates negative momentum. Even reaching a point of neutral stagnation should be enough cause for concern regarding the health of the server. I just wish he would he be more present and vocal. It's extremely important for the health of the server and for those times when people are deciding whether they want to keep investing hundreds/thousands of hours into a game. I've taken a break to focus on some big things for Q2 at work, but have kept a close eye on the forums and discord to see if it's worth hyping myself up to drop back. I guess I'm just looking for reasons to prove myself wrong about the direction things are going. |

To be fair, the drop seems to also be a result of the end of the XP rings. Could it lead to a 10% dip in active pop? Quite possibly. EDIT: I don't believe that stagnation/deflation of population is such a bad thing. It's quite inevitable if you ask me. We are talking about a limited content 15-yr-old game. The pool of players is limited and Nasomi server is a good example of why SE will not bother with a Classic server. Not enough interest. |

The only person that can answer that question is Nasomi himself if that's what you genuinely want to know PM him. From what I observed it's more likely that he is preoccupied IRL + battling RMT solo + losing Nabutso for tech support. |

Things slow down on this server every year during the warmer months because people can actually go outside and have lives again. Nothing new here. |

Nothing new here. >_>; also not to mention all the people here who have to leave because "wife aggro" or "kid aggro". It's summer break so I imagine more people will have to spend time with their families X:. |

I wasn't here for any previous Springs/Summers, so that's something I don't know about. Though, I'm more curious about Nasomi and not much the player population. And I guess "only Nas himself could answer" is the best answer...though.. he never does, so I thought someone else might have insight or have heard something from some other source. |
