Hey im planning on playing this with 2 friends. Im starting out war, ones going blm, and the other ones going whm. eventually ill be pld, friend will prob stay blm, and the other will end up bard. How fast do you think we can realistically get to 75? |

I've been playing for a little over 3 months now, on my weekends for an average of 12 hours a weekend as a Bard. If It wasn't for the fact that I didn't have to fish or farm for any money, I would have been max level about two weeks ago. I am currently level 65 Bard. If you have more play time than me, and didn't focus on other jobs besides Paladin/Warrior, you could realistically hit level 75 in about two months time, if you put all of your play time into just pure leveling if you played an average of 15-20 hours a week. |

Realistically? If you intend to have a properly leveled subjob, keep up with missions, and at least farm enough to obtain mediocre gear? Probably 3-6 months on average depending on how much time you have to play. |

If you guys stick it out mostly together, you’ll probably all hit 75 within the first 6 months like Aewyn said. On their own, BLM and PLD are long roads to 75 since they’re not typically sought out for exp here, but if you guys mostly form your own groups and have a BRD handy you’ll be able to cook through the levels pretty quickly. And, it’s not a half-bad group for trio-ing your way through the various missions/coffee key hunts/etc (you’ll still need some higher level help for some content, or at least more people - LB1, for example). Once you all have your first 75’s knocked out, leveling additional jobs goes SO MUCH FASTER, especially if you don’t have to level a dozen new sub jobs each time and/or can share a fair amount of gear. Most people can take a job to 75 in a month or so (and often less) of dedicated leveling if the whole pile of prereqs is out of the way. |

The best piece of advice is for all of you to start leveling two characters each (main + alt). Down the line you might want to have an alt, and trust me that catching up an alt sucks, you may as well do it together with your main the first time around. Things like CoP, ZM, Rank, etc. you probably don't want to do twice. This also doubles up as a full party for you guys all the way to 75, so that will also increase the rate at which you exp as you'll never have to look for anyone. |

If you wanted to do it quickly, and be prepared for all the content, all three of you would dualbox another character and just have your own parties. |

PLD, BLM and BRD? 2 of these are not like the other. I started back in 2014 and it took me about 6-8 weeks to level to 75 but it was a vastly different experience then. For example I leveled in one zone from 24-75. I'd say 2-3 months minimum unless you plan to be super gimp. |

If you guys go the dual-box route you guys would be set - one of you can go healer (RDM or WHM) and the other two can fill out some DD (WAR or SAM would probably be easiest). BRD PLD BLM RDM DD DD would be pretty solid all the way to 75, and you guys could likely do most content along the way by yourselves. Having a COR and a BRD together would make for a damned good exp group, but the Maat fight isn’t implemented for BLU, COR or PUP yet so you’ll have to hit 75 (or at least 66 and beat Maat) on another job first. |
