I read somewhere that goblin pet xp is reduced on server by 50%. Is this still true? As a shift worker/family man I find it hard to dedicate hours to parties while leveling and pets are/were amazing for blm/smn/bst for grinding solo xp. Thank you in advance |

Yes, they are reduced, as Nas wants people to group up to level up. There are still options out there to solo. Also, as some one who has leveled Bard quite a bit, I can tell you that there are awesome BLM Burn parties out there that are fantastic if you want to level up BLM. Also, for a BLM, you can sub RDM, and silence worms and just nuke them from a distance as well for solo. As for SMN, I feel like if you follow a guide that levels up BST, it should work just the same for the SMN, just might be a bit more difficult. There might be some Astral Flow parties out there, but I haven't seen any yet personally. |

in a old post from Nabutso it was said it was 75% reduced xp, so its definitely a waste of time. Best thing to solo here like what was said already will be worms. |

Due to pet exp nerfs, BLM solo is a rough road for a long time (and even in endgame, it's pretty 'meh' exp/hr, really). I took SMN up to 40 almost entirely solo on worms, bombs and goblins (self-destruct/etc. is amazing, though unreliable overall) and it actually wasn't too bad, but that was before the auto-attack damage was nerfed down a fair bit. Your best bet on solo is probably still BST, though if you/your schedule is open to trying out some Manaburn BLM parties, seek out a pearl to the LS "Manafont", if they're still around. For BST and/or SMN, FunWithJugs might still be kicking around in some form. |
