Did the update "fix" bst exp rate? Not seeing exp for my pet dying. Not seeing any patch notes on the forum's either. It's weird seeing chain #1 and only getting the mob exp. My pet dies and i finish off the mob. Didn't kill anything beforehand either. It's throwing me off on how to play bst lol |

Dunno why the fix is in scare quotes - your pet dying didn't give you XP on retail. It's an actual fix, not a "fix." |

Funny thing is this exploit actually allowed bst to earn solo xp comparable to the average party, which is usually the justification given for bst's irrelevance in 99% of the game. Bst solo xp rate hasn't been anywhere close to the rate of the average party since like 2004, when 4k/hr was considered "good xp." Xp rates more than tripled when players adopted more efficient methods while bst solo xp remained about the same. Hell, I'm not even convinced bst is the best when it comes to solo xp, or soloing in general. My nin can easily and more safely solo double the xp per hour my bst can. Still, it most certainly was an unintended bug not in accordance with the era this server seeks to emulate. |

tbh thats not that big of a deal if ur pet is em or lower it wont hurt ur xp. u can just charm a em and just smash dcs till ur pet dies and then go get another em. |
