Does anyone else think this amount of items being allowed at once encourages undercutting due to increased supply?

I don't remember this much market fluctuation. It seems like if I don't list an item for 10-20% or more below the last purchase price, I rarely will get a sale without having to un-list and relist everything a few days later which is a major time sink seeing as you have to zone before re listing everything.

as opposed to a 7 ah limit not encouraging undercutting?

markets always fluctuated. the current system is fine as it is. the only thing that might be better, is having your items get sent back to you after 7-10 rl days. 30 is kind of overkill imo.

If you're running out of space at 100 slots then your items are overpriced ;3

The alternative is the 7 item limit like retail, and that encourages people to cheat. It will also cause everyone to level fishing and bloat the economy so that you can't afford anything since fishing is a terminal output of gil per hour after loading your auction slots. Nas can't catch everyone, so the simple reality is you will empower a small minority of people with an excess amount of gil.

I'm sorry you don't have enough time to play the auction game, but a lot of other people do and this is highly functional for them.

People really will complain about anything and everything, won't they?

I’d like items to get returned faster, in a perfect world, but really I think the way it works is fine.

I agree completely with this statement.

Or a button in the account management page to return individual items. Perhaps one that changes the days remaining to 0, forcing it to return?

It's balanced by the fact that people don't have to undercut as aggressively to clear out their AH slots. I'm happy to let stuff sit for a while if the price is fluctuating since I can list up to 300 items instead of 21. If this wasn't the case, I'd be very tempted to undercut significantly to make sure that items clear out.
