Hello, Very new to the server and I'm enjoying it immensley. I was just curious if we are allowed to use those back end files to make the game look more crisp. I know theres a thread on FFXIAH for just that. I dont know how to do it as I'm not techy at all, but just wanted to reach out and ask here first and check for permission before attempting to do so. Thank you. |

Sure, the only thing that wouldn't be allowed would be things that give you an unfair advantage, e.g.: .dat swapping maps, removing darter mobs in Dragon's Aery, etc. There's an "improving graphics for dummies" (or something like that) thread here on these forums that has a bunch of stuff like that detailed out, including stuff like XIview, etc. |
