Has anyone set up a linkshell bank on this server? Our LS leader has offered up her mule as a bank, but we know that the rules don't allow account sharing. (Worst case scenario, she just has to control the bank). Has anyone gotten permission from Nasomi to do a bank? We definitely don't want to do anything not permitted, but if there is a way to OK an account to be a Linkshell bank or something similar we'd like to do that. |

It’s ok to have a linkshell bank mule , is not ok to share the account among different people ( worst scenatio 1 of the guy cheat -> ls bank mule gets banned too associated with cheater -> everyone who used the bank mule gets banned |

Nova has an LS bank. It's my 3rd character dedicated to jeuno mostly but always just town. It's completely fine to have a bank, as others mentioned as long as they play and don't cheat you'll be completely fine. We have transactions all the time, sometimes millions of gil to others if we buy HQ currency in bulk. Everything is traced and recorded. Most important thing is to be sure whomever is in charge is completely trustworthy. But that's another topic. |

One person will have to control it. As pasquale said, sharing it comes with the risk of everyone who touches it getting banned if one of the people does anything against the rules. I personally don't believe in the idea itself and have only ever seen one system executed with complete fairness but even with a fair a system as possible including a lot of work and spreadsheeting, at some point, as people quit the game and leave gil behind in that bank, there is one person who eventually owns it all. I believe in free lot and rng gods on money items. But everyone has their preference. |

We had kind of figured that was how it would have to work. Was just curious about everyone else's experiences with it. Thank you for the feedback! |

I offer up my mule to anyone that would like to use it for an LS bank. Aeroo wrote: One person will have to control it. I've also only seen Aeroo's example work, and as he mentioned.. even then it was significantly more work than alternative options for fairly minimal gain in experience. |

Farside has had to invest gil into RFK’s bank that kind of nullifies what he gets to play with in terms of unclaimed money. Over time people occasionally don’t turn in saleable split items, and he has had to compensate LS members for the awol members who never turned them in. Running a bank like RFK does is a bit of work. Maybe Locke can weigh in on this. No LS bank is perfect. “Fair” is relative. The best we can do is informed consent. |

Visibility, accountability, transparency, and everything in between those lines are key. Anything you can do in the middle of that to automate the process of record keeping helps tremendously when it comes to the distribution/fulfillment of gil. |

Or you can hide it, keep very sporadic documentation on it and only give your members a very tiny sliver of their hard work back in small discounts on lolabjuration items and book the rest for your very own relic and then don't play as much. |
