Post subject:  Linkshells willing to take on a semi-noob?
Just started a week or so ago after a 14 year hiatus. I played for a bit on the PS2, so long ago that there are things in this version I’m not familiar with. Just looking to find a friendly social linkshell to help me get back into the swing of things. Character name is Burger.

Feel free to ignore all the clowns before this post. I’m not sure how outdated this list is, but it can be a shot seeing what type of LSs there are and who to contact about possibly receiving a pearl.

There are plenty of linkshells that you're able to join who are more than welcoming to new players. Your best bet is to find a linkshell that is progression/help you with missions -- and from there, develop friendships. Everything else after that will take place organically.

Best place to start for new players on the server is in exp groups, party up and find people you click with, that seem like you could learn something from, and ask if they can get you into their linkshell. The endgame scene is pretty saturated, but event shells, progression shells, and social shells are almost always welcoming people they see value in. As long as you're kind natured/respectful/attempt to be respectable/not a snowflake, you'll grow into any group worth your time, no sweat. Whether you participate or not, you're part of this community now, and hopefully you find a good home. Take care^^
