Post subject:  Best way for a 75 Pld to get merits?

Friends please don't do me like this. I got Pld and Bst to 75, I'm hoping theres some situations where these aren't bad in 75 exp parties.

King Ranperres tomb theres high lvl skeletons maybe I can take my Pld and DD with my A- staff skill?

Currently going to sky, charming flamingos, and fighting the tough sprinklers as Pld/bst. It's nice easily maxing out all my skills but I miss real exp parties

Sadly, most groups will not take either of those jobs..

It's doable, Spirit Taker lets you keep your MP up for cures/hate and does decent dmg. You'd need to find 2+ MNK to carry the load though.

Get a PLD/MNK/BLU party and beat up skeletons. Banish (should) remove skeleton resistances, makes things even easier.

Farm some gil. Buy spots in dynamis leech groups.

Level another job.. do bard or cor, 75 in a week or two and then instant merit party invites at your leisure.

You could get your homam set, walahra, hauby, and best 2 DD swords and go DPS ^^

Farm Grah, Aern, Euvhi in sea? Camp Despot, or farm waters in sky? Could do some dynamis, just don't die too much and end up losing exp. Do those in smaller groups, and you'll get some exp + get some pops and drops at the same time. It'd be a tough sell to get an invite to a pug merit group as pld, you'd already need to have the merits & gear to sell the idea, then you'd need to build a reputation as being able to deliver on it.could do other stuff also like farm HQ antlion jaws, Bomb Queen Ring pop items, Hakutaku eyes for clusters, Fire Bomblet pops, could team up with a crafter to farm them some marid hide or wivre mauls, be creative and you can find plenty of ways to get exp/merit on Pld, while getting yourself some gear or gil in the process. There's no point in meriting if you can get upwards to 10+ merits in a couple of hours tops just standing around lol. Same goes for exping 65+.

Biggest flaw of the server hands down imho.

Go DD pld/nin and make a 65/66 party in Mire. That's what I just did to cap my buffer again. As easy as it is to get a leech spot in a dyna burn, i like playing in a party and fighting mobs myself, instead of just standing around. ^^
