Lowest listing below whatever the bidder offers is what sells first. Listing for exact price people are paying means it’ll rarely move unless it’s a high-demand item. That said, if two people list an item for the *exact* same price and that price sets either to be “next in line”, it seems like the *newer* item sells first, which is not like retail. Might need more testing to 100% confirm. Would be nice to have that flipped back around. |

I've confirmed this 100% in the past. newest listing sells first when items are the same price. super easy to test with just you and your dual box, too. Find an item that's sold out on the AH, get two, put them both up for 1g, second listing will sell before the first. |

Agreed... It should really be the oldest item that sells first (for the same price) not the newest. Put it on the ol' Nas to-do list... Until then.... 17,999, still works better than 18,000 >.>;;; |

you need to lower your prices. You can only get away with listing it at the exact price when you're the only person selling the item. You could do 17,901 and probably sell. If you do 17,501 I bet yours will sell pretty fast. if you do 17,001 it might sell even quicker, but there are sometimes people who bid that trying to snipe 1k gil savings. You have to weigh the factors and risks to decide what prices are best for you. But whatever you do, you almost never want to list it at the exact going rate when an item has plenty of stock. |

Well yeah I know I can do that. But this is a regular rotating item. 650ish sold in 2 weeks. (60 in stock / 650 sold in 2 weeks = 10%~ THEN 14 days x 10% = 1.5 days~) By selling oldest item first it rotates stock quicker and regulates the market better. People know what the turn around time is. I spent 5 days busting my ass farming clusters, ninja scrolls, tele's, yags, monster sigs, ram horns for what should be around 750K, but it's been almost 2 weeks and I've seen like 100k of it lol. The amount of clusters alone I had were like 200k. |
