While I think the reduction on exp is not a big deal, level on mobs should be revised, most EP at 75 give 18 exp and do not aggro, meaning they are the lowest EP level.

Reduction on EP exp however would affect pup greatly now tho since nobody uses to invite pup.

The base table was altered.

The 20% was a separate issue where you were getting an invisible Chain #1 exp bonus. I don't know if that's been removed.

Anyway, you know that +20% is huge in this game where we pay so much for something 1% better.

I just took drg 1-19 since the update. It's a bit slower, but far from unplayable.

I think OP is inferring the very first 10 levels. The first 10 with no sub-job does suck. But this whole game is a grind.

The first 10 levels with no sj/money/gear was always the worst, especially as a taru. I leveled war first to make it a bit easier.

You also get to play the game for free and get a free alt to help with those 1st lvls... sooo nas is such a meanie.

I would create an alt right away if I was new again, heal yourself etc. Kinda fun imo and also work on outpost warps.

All you people saying it's not that bad are fools. You all had the band and higher XP when you did 1-12. And everyone saying how it's a grind a supposed to be this way, I played retail Pre-ToAU to the last expansion, XP was NEVER this grueling. It's supposed to be something you do for fun, this isnt fun. 40 XP for 2000 TNL is insane. I got better shit to do with my time and better games to play.
