| Post subject: | wiki not working |
in the forum there are several links to a fix of a prob i'm having with logging in and loading the game, but they all point to the wiki and it's not working. Is there another link that will give me access to the posts in wiki? |

There have been a couple efforts to start new wikis (note: these are NOT built/maintained by Nasomi himself), this one has a bunch of the important Nasomi-specific content like troubleshooting, etc.: https://nwiki.fandom.com/wiki/Nwiki_Wiki The rest of this probably isn't relevant to you, but may be helpful for other folks that stumble across this post so I'm gonna hijack it a bit: Much of the rest of the FFXI lore/info you'll ever need can be found at 'the' wiki, https://ffxiclopedia.fandom.com - just make sure to check the "History" tab and make sure you're looking at data from 2005-2006-ish era, as many quests/etc. have been changed throughout the years, but 99% of Nasomi content is based on the "Era" quest timers/trade items/waits/resets/etc. Another good site that is still around is http://ffxi.somepage.com/ - there are a number of incredibly-useful sections here, such as recipe lists per guild, etc. Some other honorable mentions: Decent list of exp camps, most of which are still fairly accurate for Nasomi: http://campsitarus.blogspot.com/ Another legendary wiki, in case the Fandom wiki is missing stuff: https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Main_Page Yet another wiki that is sure to trigger some massive nostalgia: https://ffxi.allakhazam.com/ Mostly-era-accurate mob/item DB, including reference droprates/etc.: http://ffxidb.com (Note: many of these drop rates and some of the loot tables will differ on Nasomi, but for the most part they're good enough for a rough estimate) There are other private server sites that provide a nice front-end to the DSP (or Topaz now, I suppose) item/mob/etc. database, but I'll avoid direct-linking them here in case anyone is worried about some kind of conflict-of-interest or something. You should be able to find them with a little bit of Google detective work. |
