Hi, So I was wondering now that the ranged attack/accuracy formula is better, how exactly does it work? Like what are the different ranges in yalms for different ranged weapons for optimal damage/accuracy? Also should rangers always stay in melee range and combine melee attacks with ranged ones?(so the monster doesn't run to the ranger and force everyone to move/not attack.) Thanks. |

This would literally take 1 exp party to figure out. Go try stuff out and figure out what works. Not trying to be a dick but asking questions like this on the forums usually just leads to derailed topics and some misinformation. You may take that information as gospel and end up sub-optimal in a party. But literally if you get into a party, stand at 25', fire a few arrows, move to 20', fire a few arrows, move to 15' etc etc you'll quickly figure out what the optimal distance is within 5 min. The one tip that I will give you is that point blank (less than 3') will have reduced accuracy. Good luck! |

so since the change it is 3+ Max damage and my own personal experince i feel like i have less accuracy at 15+ but i do not notice a damage difference 3+ yalms away since the change |
