Not being able to see a full list of linkshell members online is extremely irritating especially as a shell/sack holder. Its difficult to sack someone, see if anyone has a pearl that shouldnt, ect. I believe Nas has said before that its some sort of client restriction why we cant have a list longer than the 17 it shows. My proposal is to add a linkshell page under the account section. This page at a minimum would show anyone that is wearing the pearl and is online. Other "nice to have" features could include showing a list of all people that have pearls and if they are online or offline and the ability to kick or sack people if you are a shell/sack holder.

I dont think this would be hard to implement and would be a nice QoL for linkshell management.

I understand the frustration but there's a myriad of other things that are light years beyond this needing to be addressed in my humble opinion.

Don't really need to see all members online when people can simply do a "/" when you ask who's up for event time for jobs. Members should know whos sack/leadership so that's not a huge issue. If you need them to be sack to hand out pearls just ask people to unequip the LS until their name pops up to sack them.

If your worry is making sure everyone who's on is at an event and babysitting people well then that's a whole other issue that you'll have to settle another way. I personally don't babysit anyone, not saying you do.

Haven't you repearled like 15 times because you were worried about people having your linkpearl and spying from down the list?

I agree there are a ton of other issues that I would rather have addressed but those have been brought up many times and none of it gets done. I am suggesting this as something I know Nasomi is capable of doing as he's created other pages like it seemingly for fun (like the Scoreboard). Just trying for some low hanging fruit.

There have been lots of rumors around lately that people have pearls they shouldnt. This is a way to combat/keep an eye on that. Its also not so much babysitting since in DB everything is voluntary but I would be lying if I wasnt interested in who was exping or farming instead of coming to help out when it was really needed. In my experience those people are much more receptive if you /tell them and ask them to come help out if they are needed. I am sure I am not the only sack/shell holder that feels this way. The other things I listed are more of inconveniences that currently have workarounds but a page like this could help alleviate them more.

No, HyperNova was a pearl for almost 2 years before a new pearl was made. People having pearl that shouldn't was one reason but not a main one. Thanks for your valued input though.

Unfortunately while it seems like a simple fix I believe it does require some major fundamental changes to the system that would likely end horribly. I totally wish it was fixed though as it is highly annoying but at least its not game breaking.

Except HyperNova wasn't the first incarnation of your LS either. Or the second.

No where did I ask him to fix the client to allow the full linkshell list to show. Creating another web page in the account section is a simple fix. Create web page > write easy SQL statement > ??? > profit

I seemed to have completely glossed over that. That certainly should be doable. My apologies

CrystalEffect was 1st for a bit, then Nova, then HyperNova... CrystalEffect was too close to Atma's LS color so we changed to Nova (red). That was ugly so we changed to HyperNova (blue again since Atma no longer existed) that lasted for a long time as I said before. Now ReduxElite. That's the entire history of all the LS's for everyone who hasn't been around that long and cares, which I can assure you basically no one does.

Dealing with spies is very easy. Simply assign roles in Discord to your known active members and place ToD's and Events in discord channels. That's why I said we didn't reform because of spies. That wasn't the reason at all.

Anything else I can answer for you?

Edit: I did have another response for this but I figured I'd prefer to take the high ground and not start drama. So this is the new response.
