Hey guys, As a fairly new player I have been trying to learn about the OWNM system. I have been frustrated by my failure to find and good source of information for these fights i.e. loot tables, locations, testimonials. Is there some source out there I am missing? Thanks. |

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13451 ^ location and loot tables, add lynx leather and stuff like that on some. Also strategies vary but most people tend to kite it around with gravity while nuking or with rngs. |

So is this just fighting a Wyvern with a level cap for an OWNM? Or do these things retain special abilities and skills from the actual BCNM's that they are associated with? |

The wyvern is a rdm so casts a big array of spells. It's a RDM mob with Adamantoise TP attacks that looks like a Wyvern (cuz... reasons?). Watch out for aqua/earth breath, and make sure to dispel Harden Shell. Pretty much everyone hits 'em with gravity and kites them, since they're pretty dangerous to fight straight-up (especially under the lower level caps). RNG, BLM, RDM (and even SMN for the 50/60-caps) are all great OWNM jobs, though make sure to bring some form of Treasure Hunter with you since it seems to affect their loot pools. |

NIN/RDM or NIN/BLM and ele wheel is quite good for the 40 and 50 caps as well. |
