Do you have to do anything special to make it work on a tablet? Is it on-screen controls? I'd love to get this working on an inexpensive tablet.

You would need a Bluetooth or wireless keyboard and mouse and controller. This would be terrible with on screen controls.

Anyone ever get around to trying this on a cheap tablet? Would be interested in picking picking one up if it runs well enough for crafting/mindless farming purposes. Don't have the extra screen for the mini pc to be of much value, but the portability of the tablet/miniblutooth controller would be great. If so, which one? Also thought about splurging on an nvidia shield tablet to turn into an emulator device. Would it run there? I'm thinking not since it's android based but maybe you more tech savvy people know a way.

The game is running on that tablet - it's not just a screen share or monitor of some other PC? Neat. Any chance you have a link to where one could purchase that model of tablet?

Don't need 60fps, just good 'ol 20-30fps greatness of that era.

Surface Pro works well, I have a surface pro 2 I use on the couch. However the difference in size/weight is considerable. Not to mention the cheapest used surface pro you can find on ebay that works is $180-200. Compared to $80, it's not a tough decision. Plus I bought this because of the 8" screen. It's the size of an ipad mini.

I hate you. It's on back order everywhere I look. I will be ordering one the moment I can find one available that isn't $700. GPD WIN is a great machine with only one design flaw that I've been able to identify having not having one in my hands. The keyboard is not centered. When it comes to thumb typing, i had one mobile phone that did this a while back, and it really broke the ability to touch type with thumbs.
