I came across a game called Heroes of FOTA and it's described as the first mining RTT game ever. The story looks interesting – ancient prophecies, demigods, summoning heroes from other dimensions – but I'm not sure how the gameplay actually works. Has anyone tried it? Is the mining mechanic actually fun? |

I've been playing it for a few weeks now and it's genuinely a refreshing take on the RTT genre. The game is set across three different realms connected by portals, and you collect relics and summon heroes from different races. The mining mechanic is integrated into the gameplay in a way that actually makes sense – you gather resources to upgrade your heroes and items, and there's a whole progression system from common to legendary gear. What I really like is the variety of modes and the NFT element – the heroes like Gideon, Aedus, and Alva each have unique abilities and backstories that tie into the overarching narrative. That sounds cool – I like that it's cross-platform and the lore seems deeper than most games. The NFT aspect makes me a bit hesitant, but the mining and RTT combo is intriguing. I'll check out the site and see if it's worth a download. Thanks for the info. |

I've tried it for a little while. The mining element is a nice twist because it gives you something to work toward even when you're not focused entirely on battles. The gameplay still revolves around building your team and improving your heroes, so it doesn't feel like the mining mechanic takes over the whole experience. If you enjoy strategy games with progression and a bit of resource management, it's definitely worth giving a try to see if it suits your style. |
