Post subject: | Mobs depopping? |
I got into this server through friends who said it was real old skool FFXI like 2005. But mobs depop when you zone so BST is not old skool. Is it meant to be like that? I know SE brought it in due to idiots closing zones down by training mobs, but I wouldn't have thought that would be an issue on this server. Love the general feel to the server though. Actually seeing people running about starter towns and zones is heart warming. Oh... and rabbit mantle quest in Bastok is broken. Though I suppose there are plenty of broken quests yes? |

MPK'ing is against Nas' rules, so having non-NM mobs depop is one of those "Quality of life" updates that SE introduced later on that Nas has kept, likely to mitigate those kinds of problems. You'll find that other out-of-era things are in Nasomi as well, most of which are welcome additions. For instance: Gear Sets. After being spoiled for so many years with Spellcast and Gearswap plugins, it would have been extremely difficult to come back to FFXI without a suitable replacement. |
