So I really like the idea of pvp. But is it possible to make it to where you don't lose xp. Because there are no caps for level and as soon as I go in there are a bunch of 75s killing everyone low level lol

I think it would be cool for there to be level zones so that low level people can have a chance to kill others. maybe 1-10 and then 10-20 and ect. just something to help people out and not get destroyed all the time by super high level people. And also maybe some rewards for killing people since there are losses for losing??

These are just a few things I think could help this out. Thanks!

You don't lose exp anymore.

Nas's plans are to have it have matches. 25 cap, 50 cap, 75 cap. They'll be ever 4 hours, and last an hour. They'll have an entree fee, and last man standing will get half the pot. This event is just so he can work out the crashes.

^ love those ideas, please do different buyins occasionally with a calendar so people know when to be on for the huge 100+ person 1 million gil battles lol

He said it was planned to be rotating, so level 75 cap wouldn't be at the same time every day, same with 25 cap, etc. That way people could plan ahead to see when it would fit people's schedule.

Well, he should know that a 25 cap is stupid. Most jobs have nothing interesting unlocked at that level and aside from the magic jobs using magic, it all comes down to a slapfight, with the winner being the person with the highest Atk vs. Def, Acc vs. Eva, and HP and MP.

There was a reason why 30, 40, and 50 caps were dead in Ballista. 60 cap was where ALL the action was at. Uncap was less popular than 60, but it wasn't dead like the formers and people used Brenner for uncap 1v1s.

Currently, FFA is "meh" (IMO), so if there's any possible way of implementing a "team based" PVP aside from just killing each other, that'd be GREAT! Ballista wasn't just about killing people, all jobs had a way to contribute because of the scoring (Petras and Rook) system. That's something I look forward to, but I know will probably never happen.

All the bugs and issues need to be looked into ASAP, as well a rebalancing on EVERYTHING. Damage formula, stats, magic, job traits, job abilities, everything. Also, get rid of gear swapping, you'd get punished by being bound if you switched anything you had on except ammo.

Other than the obvious, it's also a great place to test a lot of crap players were unable to test before.
