It's a popular opinion. You can see just how many came from streams by watching streams and seeing all the interaction, as well as posts like yours in the intro section.

I'd just like to point out that the only way me (and a few friends) even heard of this server is because of Twitch streamers. I wholeheartedly believe that they deserve 100% support because if not for them, myself, and I assume a bunch of others, would have never heard about the server. To add to it, I assumed that any private server for FFXI would be completely dead! Little did I know (thanks to Twitch streamers, of course) that this place is thriving.

So, to those of who you stream this game up there, thank you for introducing it to me! Anyone else in a similar boat?

Although I frequently watch and enjoy FFXI private server players on Twitch, please be aware that streaming it is against the ToS and can suspend your Twitch account.
