As you all may know, I try to keep it light on the forums with funny GIFs, but I think there's a few things that I've noticed that need addressing/discussing. Zone Lag This is a clear issue we've all dealt with for months now. Constant lag with excess people in zones. The last few maint's have tried to correct this but all have failed. HNM zones are unbearable with anything over 60. I'm sure Nas is completely aware of this and banging his head against the wall trying to come up with a fix, but with the server at it's size, it's only going to create constant drama. A Fafnir today had 60+ people and the lag was crazy. If it were a Nidhogg or any other HQ King there'd be crazy drama (unfortunately). I also bring this up now since I've EXPed in the dunes recently with 80+. Even though there aren't enough camps to support that horrific zone, there was also a 2-3 second delay on most things, in the dunes. That's an issue. Simply put - we all have dealt with this recently and understand there's going to be lag. Just hoping we're working on a fix. HP Mob Buff Since the last Mob AI Maint, myself and others have noticed a significant buff to mobs HP. I'd safely say after killing Jorm, Tiamat, and Vrtra there's a 20%-25% HP increase to all since that maint. On top of that, Sky Gods are also buffed heavily with HP, along with the few Sea pops that we've done. Was this intended? Before the keyboard warriors go nuts saying "you can't kill the mob", trust me, if anything, I'm trying to help everyone who can or can't kill these mobs currently, because I promise my LS kills them faster than you do. ------------------------ Before this turns into a derailed forum post, clearly myself, and everyone love what Nasomi does. We love this server. Just looking for a few answers. Curious to see what everyone elses feedback is on this post. |

Lag zone is just insane the dunes especially macros are 10-20 seconds behind, kneeling sometimes wont happen for me being a mage currently or I get stuck in some huge loop of kneeling and standing up, someones HP don't move so you don't realize they are actually almost dead until its to late. That's some of issues I have with dunes really bad other night when I seen like 100 or so people in dunes. |

I don't even bother with trying to get a party going w/ my friends when there's 70+ people knowing full well people will be camped on top of each other. :-/ |

They get shit EXP/HR, that's how. Multiple other zones to pick for that level range, but everyone flocks to it like lemmings. |

It escapes me why people aren't using Buburimu Peninsula, or now that worms don't move, Shakhrami and Korroloka. Oddly enough, those zones were actually used more often a few years ago when the average server population was around 200 than they are now ~ go figure. ![]() |

It's a bit dangerous with the mandies + dream flower and Zu + helldive but overall not awful. Around 16 it got a bit more difficult with a ton of goblins and undead mobs that aggro. I'd like to mention I've put together somewhat okay parties at Buburimu and people seem willing to give it a try. I've asked about 5 different players and none of them opposed to it. |

I would ballpark the Maze as 14-20 (worms) and Korroloka as 16-24 (worms, followed by crabs and spiders). I have not used either of those camps since Nas adjusted mob levels last year, however, so it would require testing. Party composition would also play a large factor unless you have a PL. Korroloka also used to be an excellent manaburn spot back in the day, even when worms were still moving. Ranged burns would excel in both places now provided they had Shell and Barstonra access or a PL. Additionally, the worms in Attohwha chasm are also newly viable again, though I probably would only bring a manaburn or ranged burn there due to the high likelihood of links, unless you have a PL. If memory serves, Chasm worms used to be good for 24-30. They are located past the hecteyes around the entrance area. Also @ Shinbi, Buburimu is good on birds and dhalmel 13-16 (camp is out in the open near the ramp leading down to the Bibiki Beach,) then crabs and pugil on the beach leading to Bibiki 17-20 (classic Dunes experience away from the Dunes lol.) For the Maze, there is a spot in one of the tunnels where you can camp safely and have access to a lot of worm spawns. Getting there is most of the battle. Maze would not be recommended for a party of newer people without SJ and only basic jobs due to AoE, however. |

@Epyon you gotta admit though, Helldive is a butthole clencher! It has KO'd people in 1 hit lol. Thanks for the info, we are definitely running out of space in the dunes and people need to spread out more. I'm pretty much done with trying the dunes and will be hanging out in Buburimu w/ my friends. |

Yeah, these alternative camps are less supportive of newer players with only basic jobs unlocked or no SJ yet, but for a varied party, or anyone with a PL, they can be great. |
