I'm a returning player; I quit before level sync was ever introduced so I'm used to old school partying. I'm currently lvl 13 and am getting readyto head tothe dunes. I'm done some reading on lvl sync and have some questions. It seems people want to sync as low as you can for as long as you can; i.e. staying in dunes or qufim. Do people not try to form parties at your current levels? As such, are you guys carrying multiple gear sets for different level ranges? I understand gear can scale down when syncing, but I read it's almost always better to have appropriate level gear verse having high gear synced down. Correct? It seems like you're just hurting yourself by syncing down. You're capping the levels your skills can reachand you lose access to better abilities, spells, and equipment. |

That's not really true. People do like to stay in the Dunes as long as they can, but realistically that's around level 22-25, and it's never really an issue after that. 2. Sync range is basically always at 10 levels now for most people, so it's not that much gear changing. Gear does swap down. I'd recommend, at the very least, making sure you have level appropriate weapons. 3. This is true, and it's why I never understood people wanting the level sync to be a wide range. The reason why it's popular at the lower levels is because with the relative small size of the levels, large pool of players in the dunes, and easy mobs to fight.. it's a good way to blow through those first levels. |

KRT used to have a huge issue with this a couple year ago. People would stay there all day and just chain swap sync's cause the XP/hr there was crazy. I remember partying with 75s in the dunes when I started though. Any xp beat no xp and I was weary of wanting to keep playing since I didn't want to live in dunes the whole game just to have to go skill up later. Sounded like an awful time. I'd certainly love a 20 level range again sometimes just to have more people to make a party with, but overall, I'm happy with the current system and am glad to be trying new camps! Now I just need to work on compiling a list of good camps. |

People playing in off-peak hours still have some trouble, sometimes, forming a party at all levels. I just meant... they should get over it, basically. As for a list of camps, on the second page of this forum is a compilation of active and tested camps on Nasomi. edit: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4723 |
