I think that current level sync limitations is such a horrible idea and really takes away part of what makes this game great. Sure back in the day it was a 2~3 level gap, but that still doesn't mean it wasn't a terrible design. SE later changed this for the better. I just started playing and I can't even level with my friend or friends if we level too far away from each other. Exping with friends is what makes this game great and tolerable in the leveling process. I spent 2 hours just looking for a tank last night when I had a friend willing to play it but he couldn't due to the sync cap. I really wish the sync cap would be considered to be changed, because it will only make the exping experience funner, which is what your doing for almost 80% of the time. I heard the reason the cap is in place is because people were abusing the dunes. Well lets face it noone parties in the dunes if they have to. I also don't really see anything wrong with people exping in the dunes. Leveling in some of the lower level areas then going back and skilling up has always kinda been a process. However if you had access to Aht Urghan you would be kinda crazy to exp in the dunes : P I know we don't have access to Aht Urghan here but there are tons of great and better exp options than the dunes. I wan't to end by saying I don't want to seem like I'm bashing the idea of level sync. I just wanted to give some positive insight on why I think this would make the servers overall experience funner than it already is. I would also like to thank Nasomi for the hard work he does : ) |

DeadHorse.JPEG Nas is even less likely to adjust it now that there's almost always plenty of people in range to make a party. If their jobs don't make an ideal setup, there's nothing he can do about that. |

I agree that there are alot of players, however my biggest concerns is not being able to exp with my friends and thats a pretty huge one. |

What Chakan said. Despite an overwhealming majority of the community being against a sync cap, or for a higher cap (20?30?) I don't think it will happen. This gets mentioned every month or 2, but we've just come to accept it won't happen. |

If anything, maybe when the server reaches 1500+ people then change it to a 3 level gap. |

Next time you play or build a party start a timer to see how long it takes you. Why is sitting around not being able to play with your friends fun. And god forbid your tank dcs as well. Gl finding another 1 "in a 10 sync gap" There is nothing but positives that would come by removing the sync cap entirely. By all means name the negatives. Because you could say SOME people would exp in lower areas, however you dont have to subject yourself to that. Also the people who do that would be such a low % of the community because not everyone wants to exp in the dunes, or it would be on special occasions. Like oh I'm 2k tnl from 75 lemme go get it in the dunes. Nothing wrong with that |

Nothing wrong with that Because some people were abusing the sync system in various ways and also Nas didn't like the look of people hitting 75 in Valkurm Dunes. Nas' server, Nas' rules. Edited to include your full post. |

most of the best and easiest camps to power level are low ones, so its kinda got to stay the way it is. |

30 cap would be fine imo, the highest you could get in the dunes would be 48? At that's at the extreme end. However, as stated, this has been brought up and discussed, over and over. It's unfortunately not likely to change. |

Which I don't understand that either. Because all that does is promote valkurm dunes exp even more, because the mobs in the higher level areas are going to be even harder than they already were. If he would just put the mobs to where they should be and remove the level sync cap you would have a perfect leveling process, and maybe fix this level sync bug that people were abusing. I'm not really aware of what people were doing or how you could abuse a sync if its uncapped in the first place. What maybe keeping the cap where it is and it not raising. I think I have seen that 1 before. I'm not sure how hard it would be to fix. |
