Shouldn't you talk about Direct3D8 to Direct3D9 proxy, too? I'm on an RTX 2070 on Win10, and I was getting like 10-20FPS in crowded areas before installing it. Apparently has something to do with Win10 having no native D3D8 support.

It's on the NasWiki under the troubleshooting section, so I assume it's okay to use.

Not sure if this has been answered anywhere, but is there a way to get FFXI to use my dedicated GPU instead of my CPU to render graphics? I know FFXI has always used CPU but I can never find anything on changing it. Thanks.

I have to say the game looks AMAZING after finding this post.

Does anyone know of a way to make my menus larger? The words are so small on the screen and I'd love to adjust that but I havent found an answer looking around. Even my Hp/MP bar is quite small now too.

can someone explain to me the purpose of Altana Viewer? is it strictly a model view outside the game or does it change your appearance for yourself? (I would look but the firewalls are blocking me)

I've tried everything possible shown on this site and toggled everything ever, but my game still seems to not scale properly. The bottom and right side are cut off. It was fine until I had to download ashita again. 4k tv, pc only compatible up to 1080. That is my current set resolution. Seems window size is the issue. I have windower off. On just makes the issue on the opposite side. This issue happens with the stock 1080p setting as well as any other recommended settings. Even try on lower resolution settings, but then the taskbar still shows. And I have disabled the scale setting on polboot. I don't know what settings I used to have to make it work, but I just know I cant get back to it.

You dont change the scaling settings on polboot. You change them on ashita.

I'm aware of that. All of the changes I've done are on Ashita. And I've already done everything from that page. But I ended up finding something from another website to make some sort of changes in registry and it works again.
