So I had this crazy idea today that I was hoping you guys could help me flesh out. I want to make my Monk basically into a twink for dunes, similar to what people did with level 19 characters in WoW. I don't have a ton of knowledge of this game so I need help trying to figure out what level to make him shine at. Obviously I don't want to have all level 17 gear because then I'll only be awesome for one level, but I also don't know if any worthwhile gear is available at let say 14. If you can think of any fancy equipment, let me know! Also if this is a dumb idea, please just tell me lol. Last time I played this game was when CoP came out...so I pretty much have 0 knowledge or level sync or how to take advantage of it. Maybe people already have a similar idea to mine already all figured out but do it elsewhere? K im rambling bye |

You don't need to stop at an earlier level in this game. Level sync will temporarily lower your level to someone else's in your party. Just invest in some Republic Knuckles and get the Purple Belt. |

Get the best gear you can get for levels 14-19 and just keep finding groups to sync with, tons of players already twink they just don't have a name for it, basically cause most ppl grind xp in dunes and quifim already. Just try to keep a few weapons to match it up with level of your group if this is what you want to do I am sure the fist suggested would be fine |

Disclaimer: I'm not a melee But I think the biggest stat bonuses will come from jewelry at that level, so Courage Rings, Bone Earrings +1. Power Gi, Battle Gloves and/or Footman Gloves, White Belt, and finally Leaping Boots if you're a masochist. The rest of slots are sorta just defense. As for weapon I'm not too sure, something with high dmg and low delay... Strike Baghnaks or Federationo Baghnaks? Then there's food, but I'm too lazy to research that ;-P |

Thanks for all the replies! @Jei, people used to make lvl 19 characters for the 10-19 PvP bracket and then equip the best possible gear they could find which would include a lot if stuff that was far from normal to be having at that level. @Rocinante, yea I figured stat bonuses would be the best too. They make such an impact at lower levels. @Oddin, thanks for the list! Ill defiantly check out all that gear once I'm online again |
