whats about a world chat? like /yell function but on for example all 3 main cities or a specific region. can Nas add it? would be great to ask for missions or any kind of stuff. 1 min between each line of dialoge to not spam

Trying to maintain order in a chat that has a thousand people on it? Trying to follow a chat that has several thousand people in it? Was a good idea back in the day but the server has long since grown out of it. |

World chat is fun, but it has to cost a decent amount of gil to use, prolly 10-20k per "horn". |

I imagine the technology doesn't make this easy to do without fudging it with a global linkshell (there was a global shell but I hear Nasomi broke it). Even if it were possible to have world chat, it would be limited to a couple hundred players and always full. Think of Unities in Retail, you can barely ever get into the chat and there's, what, 15 or so of them? Also, this isn't a thing on Retail, so I'm not sure why we should have it on Nasomi. Particularly when Nas himselfi is the sole developer. His time is better spent on improving and fixing things that are supposed to be on this server in the first place. |
