There was a time years back where even /emotes didn't work. You'd make that taru just to be able to dance everywhere with your /joy and /panic emotes but alas you logged in and your char just stood there motionless. Lol

Apparently emote spam can cause issues server wide. Let's be thankful he reactivated them in the first place :) because I'd hate to see them go again.
