Does anyone know a good site to read up on these for whms? I mean I know you use barwatera against fish and crabs and baraera against birds but it would be nice to know for sure which ones are good for each xp monsters tp skills. Or if anyone just knows some of them and wouldn't mind sharing that would be nice too |

You use the ones that would have you resist AoEs more often, mostly. So yeah BarWatera for Fish, Crabs, and even Flies. BarFira for Goblins, BarAera works for Birds yes, can do BarStonra for Worms... can't think of much else as far as leveling goes. |

Water for crawlers (because even though they are earth based, poison breath is water). |

90% of the time it's not worth using bar-spells, because they only increase your resist rate not your magic defense to that element. Unless players are actively using magic resist gear they'll have very low resist to magic anyway so a little help doesn't matter much. Times that it's a good idea: fighting goblins (Bomb Toss), fighting enemies that only cast one type of spell (worms I guess), and against certain enemies at endgame levels (like Tiamat or Jormungand). Shell is your most important defense against magic. |

Shell is more consistent as it is a straight % reduction in magic damage taken, but barspells are more impactful when they do give you a resist tier as it cuts the damage in half for each tier. 40 (minimum) magic evasion goes a long way toward that, so for 12 MP I disagree that they aren't worth it. A couple bar waters vs cursed spheres can show this, but moreover it's confirmed on that website we aren't allowed to talk about. |

What about barthundra and barblizzara? What monsters are those usualy used for? I think barthundra is good for giants but there have to be some other monsters its useful for |
