Hi I was just wondering why are people streaming when they play? And who is this ninja guy I keep hearing about..
all i know is I heard some people were giving him gil for no reason except that he streamed his playtime?
To be honest this is very bizare and i dont get it lol. I cant imagine watching one of those when you can just play
your own game instead.

Don’t knock it till you tried it. That said this is not the kind of game I would ever watch someone else play.

He is internet famous for streaming Fortnite and has millions of followers, so some people feel a need to fawn over him for xyz personal reasons.

I'd like to raise the issue of the ethics of streaming MMOs (not only FFXI) - basically you're streaming other people, both people in your party and people who just happen to be around you. Don't you think it's a little invasion of privacy? I mean, when you log in you assume that the people who see you play are generally the people who are also playing the same game on the same server and happen to be in the same location as you at the time. If you see another character nearby you assume that only one person can see what you do or say, not half the Internet. I'm sure that many people don't mind but I'm pretty sure some do.

Dachyn, bby pls don't make me do it. Players of all games play with streamers, hell I've been in multiple PUBG games with the likes of Shroud, DrDisrespect and ChocoTaco. If you don't want to party/linkshell with a streamer, you make that known and leave the group. Heck outta here with this useless ass post, that includes you OP. A little bit of googling would've answered all of your questions and more.
