There seems to be an abundance of parties in Valkurm Dunes, but I have yet to see one that farms subjob items and I am well past my twenties.

Is there a way to write a note while seeking a party like I remembered from the official server?

Open your menu > Search > Edit Comment > Battle Content (or EXP Party, whatever) > Seek Party

Then leave your message in the box, press confirm once, leave those menus and just set up your party flag normally.

Then your name and custom message will also appear up on this website under Quick Links > Party Finder. People scan that page for forming groups easily.

I like people who take the time to put up a message like that, I like to know if they have a PL, if they have the nearby outpost for teleporting, etc.

Thanks!

I am still confused about the comment part. I got to Edit Comment, putting my message in, but I cannot find this confirm button.

I also checked quick links > party finder and I don't see my message so I don't think I am doing this right.

Oh sorry, disregard that, just exit the window once you're done writing the comment.

Depending on the subsection you chose (EXP Party, Battle Content), you might appear under Quick Links > SEACOM Browser instead.

You can also shout in the dunes or best just find a nice LS and ask there (there's a LS recruitment forum on the bottom of the board index). You will find those who help you. The fast route to subjob items is to just have a PL (sometimes more than one) run around and chain-solo these mobs to farm the items. It may feel a little like cheating or that you're useless but it's perfectly within the rules and you'll return the favor by doing it yourself some day for another player.
