This is correct healers have trouble finding pt throughout the various level ranges. Even a 41 or 48+ RDM which was goto healer in the retail have trouble finding pts (when compared to retail versions) because the PL. |

Personally, when forming a party if I can't find a healer, my search stops right there. Meaning that I don't even begin to consider DD's until the core jobs are in place. At later levels. for exp it seems there's a tank shortage if anything (60+.) As for you leveling WHM you are essentially playing the "meta" of leveling. Everyone thinks that by leveling a healer they will wind up getting fast levels and tons of party invites. The problem with this, is that when EVERYONE does this, there winds up being a surplus and it works against your intentions. I've actually hit a snag with leveling last week because there's a white mage dead zone between 38 and 51. Which is basically post sub job completion but before Red Mage can take over for healing. In my goings on I've noticed that during peak times there are roughly 12-22 WHMs seeking at once. The big issue is that they are all leveled 1-33. So if that's an indicator of anything its that there are simply too many WHMs period. The thing with DD's is its a large "it depends." Frankly I wish there was some sort of gear screening implemented on the server, (like XIAH's player gear screen or something) because more than anything else, I don't care what DD I invite, so long as they are well geared. But most are not, and that's the real problem. If you're willing to gear up (and it does take time), you can play most any DD with decent seek times. Even if you don't gear up you could technically get away with it, but more wary players like myself might not invite you a second time. My recommendation is to find a Ninja or in early levels a Warrior to duo with. I've found that only needing to find 4 players is super simple, especially if you have the Tank/Support/Healer roles filled. |

My motto: If you’ve got time to exp, you’ve got time to farm. Never understood how people could have such little self awareness when they’re tickling a monsters taint in an exp party. |

I would say that PUP, BLM and THF and maybe BST are the only classes that have a harder than average time getting parties. PUP because it doesn't work correctly. BLM is sought after endgame but it's damage output isn't what most exp parties are looking for. There are a ton of THFs. They do okay but they have a harder time getting parties from my experience just because of volume, especially higher up. A lot of BSTs do their own thing (Pso'xja burns, soloing) - they're the one class I never really saw in parties leveling. I never really have had a problem getting a party on WHM or RDM even with PLs in abundance personally, but it just depends on when you're seeking and who else is seeking when you are. I have gone out to Qufim a few times lately and it's been relatively empty compared to normal, which is odd, but I think a lot of these newer players are trying to take all their desired jobs past dunes-level so they never have to go back. Just my guess. |

People wanting to exp in your level range won't necessarily be sitting Qufim with their flag up, they'll be doing other stuff in other zones. |

I haven't had any problem finding parties as a whm or rdm in the 12-25 range so far. There are alot of new players and not everyone has a PL. You will probably get faster invites as pld, nin, brd, or cor though. |

To Bodey, I dont understand why people say blm isnt good dd in xp ptys, I remember playing it a long time ago and if it is well geared its an exceptional dd. Especially if you spam your spells and control your hate well. I used to destroy mobs and do the highest damage of my party. |
