So what I'm getting from this is that scamming is allowed on the Nasomi server then?

What you're getting from this is that ALL trades are final. Whether one person holds up the rest of the agreement or not.

That explains OP losing what he gambled. It doesn't explain the casino-runner escaping without punishment (which is how I read the /servmes; I could be wrong, and hope that I am). If the casino-runner wasn't punished, the rule prohibiting "In-Game Fraud: Defined as any action to defraud another player with the intent to gain items or gil for personal profit." is meaningless.

For the benefit of those who may happen upon this thread as it continues:

The OP gambled with a casino. Initially, OP made small bets. Eventually, he gambled his Utsu scroll and won ~250k. Instead of paying up, the casino logged out and hasn't been on since. OP had screenshots to support his claim. Nasomi put out a server message saying that both loans and casinos are done at the user's own risk and that Nasomi will not enforce any player agreements. It did not explicitly state whether or not he would punish those that violate player agreements, but it was clear that he would not compensate players on the losing end of things.

I asked Nas if the player will be banned. He didn't reply.

It's been hours. Nas doesn't typically respond to issues on the same day they are sent to him.

Don't have to freak out. Just wait. No need to spam or assume anything. That's the easiest way to not get what you want.
