After being in a party last night, 100% sure that I was hitting Magic Burst procs with my ninjutsu, yet not getting the corresponding damage and/or messages in my log, I googled it to see if ninjutsu Magic Bursts worked on Nasomi. To my dismay, I came to find out that Ninjutsu Magic Bursts, do not work on Nasomi.

My question is,

Is there any plan to implement Ninjutsu Magic Bursts in the future? It really takes away from the complete image of the Ninja job from the golden age of ffxi & is a huge blow to the usefulness of the ninjutsu elemental wheel as a whole. Also, if it was previously a part of the game on Nasomi, but was intentionally taken out, I'm curious to know why it was? Simple inquiry.

Ninja in the golden age of XI used the Ni wheel for all of 8 levels. Outside of Utsusemi, Ninja's only truly useful spells are utility ones like Tonko. The best Ninja were always melee oriented and magic bursting on Ninja is sub optimal compared to basically any other option including Dark Knight. With that in mind, Ninja is essentially what it was during that time frame except for (allegedly) slight TP gain issues regarding Dual Wield+ Gear.
