It's time (again) to talk about blm (at least?) macc. It's still lower than it should be on retail. 340 skill, 91+40 int nuking mobs elemental weakness (that's 8 elemental merits and 10 int merits on a taru) and I still can't nuke for shit on anything worthwhile. I don't know how to explain this better, but retail wasn't like this.

Nasomi is clearly waiting for hard numbers. In the meantime please cease making "but it FELT different on retail" posts.

Parses aren't allowed according to my understand of Nasomi's terms and conditions. I don't know how to gather enough data for it to matter in his eyes.

I would recommend using Microsoft Excell or a similar spreadsheet software and doing it the hard way.

Tbh I could just make up the numbers and the data wouldn't matter anyway :/

There was a ton of data from a JP blog someone posted a few weeks ago with nukes vs elementals in sky. I don't have it on-hand, but I bet if someone did those same tests, and things were different, that things would change

tbh I don't see how data on vt mobs is going to matter vs hnms, as even with a lower macc you could still be acc capped, unless that blog has his gearset as well?

It would be nice to see honesrly. I would also like to see, when nas can dedicate the time, to fix many of the elemental ws in the game. Though macc I think is a bigger priority.

What do you mean by "the data wouldn't matter"? That isn't rhetorical. Seriously what do you mean by that? Do you feel like there isn't data to be collected? That there is no data? That the data is somehow fundamentally flawed?

Or are you just being a lazy whiner?

He is saying that if he were going to "do it the hard way" with Excel like you suggested, there is nothing stopping him from saving the trouble and just making the whole thing up and filling in whatever values he wants. In which case his data would not matter as it would be fraudulent.

You're a little too eager to pick a fight if you're unable to grasp a simple sentence.
