PM 8-1 workaround?

Post subject:  PM 8-1 workaround?

On the NasWiki it says the Ru'aerns randomly spawn but when we went it felt like it spawned every time (4x rounds of mobs). Is there a workaround for them spawning each time someone touches the crystal?

Let them all vanish completly from the ground before clicking.

Letting them despawn fully worked like 80% of the time for us.

If letting them all vanish and then clicking still repops them, just move on to the next tower, and circle back around to that tower later.

Yeah, do as Aeroo says - When I did this one, we ended up needing to make 2 full laps around all the towers before we finally got them all done due to getting 2-3 repops at each one before giving up and moving on again. We were in an alliance of like 8 people, and I've since heard that being in an alliance at all seems to increase the rate of hitting the bug.

Either way, it's not too bad, so meh. The rest of the PM missions seemed to work fine for us (though there are some broken parts for the escort mission that makes it no longer an escort mission at all - make sure to check the wiki page about difference from retail).

We had a guy who was causing them to repop. We had him re-log and it fixed the problem. Same guy had that problem on all three towers and that fix worked at all three.

Thanks for the info, makes me feel a little better, thought we'd had to kill them each time :-/ we got a group of 6.
