downloaded the new launcher and installer getting error

System.Exception: Failed to launch boot file.

File Path: .\\ffxi-bootmod\\pol.exe
Error: 2
at Ashita.Classes.AshitaInjector.<>c__DisplayClass0_0.<LaunchConfiguration>b__0()

this sucks, hope that ddos attacker steps on a lego

It shouldn't be pointing to pol.exe. You sure you got the right launcher? It should list a few Nasomi options, not Retail/Private Server etc.

The small window issue of #4 happens because your ffxi is still looking for display settings in the registry at PlayOnlineUS. So instead of renaming the registry folder to PlayNasomiUS - Copy it. Fixed it for me, but the new Ashita launcher will only update the PlayNasomiUS settings fyi.

I login just fine. But anywhere from 1-5 mins after i'm in, the launcher just randomly closes. My resolution is wonky with a black border around it aswell.. Maybe I might have to reinstall.
