After losing yet another lure, this time when my dog bumped me, would it be too much to ask that a confirmation pops up asking if you really want to give up and cut your line? I would bet that anyone who fishes finds this aspect mildly irritating, at best.

By level 20-30 you either figure out how to not lose your lures or you keep the economy stimulated. I use to have issues when I first started, but you adjust. I dont really ever lose lures.

Like Multra said, /blockmouse every time (I even just add it to my default.txt in the scripts folder so I never forget), bring a couple lures, and something silly that I also do that seems to help me is to make a macro with “/fps 1” as the first line and “/fish” on the second. The FPS divisor gets automatically set to 3 when pocketing your fish and then 2 (and it stays there, so 30 FPS) post-cast, so it’s nice to have that 60 FPS (/fps 1) when doing the next set of arrows.

Unfortunately, you’re still stuck with both the H (/heal command) and Escape keys as well as prematurely hitting Enter as means to give up your catch. Removing the binding for /heal in the command Config in-game doesn’t seem to work, so maybe that’s something worth asking Nas to look into. It’s probably “fixable” by re-binding H with Ashita, but that’s probably somewhere in the bending-the-rules territory.
