Nas has stated that he's mostly done with it but not 100%. I know it's possible to dig with greens, but after 3 stacks of greens, in various zones with various conditions (weather, moon, time of day/night) I haven't found anything. No text stating that it was a success or failure. Is it active in some zones? Is there an approximation on a completion time frame? It was something that I did for fun on retail and occasionally made a handful of money off of. Just curious what everybody else's experience has been with this. Thanks! |

When nas said 90% done he meant it was 90% coded but not released as 90% functional. There is no eta on chocobo digging. |

Sometimes it feels like it's working properly but no items. Like the timers seem retail accurate, and sometimes I do get the fail to dig message. Other times, no message and instant digging without regard to timers. It's weird. I miss digging. Hopefully he gets inspired to finish it, but there are so many other issues that need to be fixed, I understand why a niche thing like digging gets little attention. |

Is there really a community of people that buy the items and go out and try digging on their Chocobo, knowing full well it’s not gonna work... just for like nostalgia? |

"Community" might be an overstatement. I don't know anyone who dug on retail, so probably can't be more than a handful here. And less nostalgia, more wishful thinking. Never know what Nas might ninja into the game... |
