I have been waiting a very long time to make this thread. Today, TopShelf killed Absolute Virtue. This is the first 2hr locked, straight-tanked kill in this era of retail.
This is our 5th kill overall, but the first since 2017 and the result of months of testing and strategy building. The fight took us over 6 hours, not including JoL. We had over 40 people playing, and well over 50 characters. We spent months learning this fight and building a strategy, which has been a ton of fun. It is one thing to theorycraft this fight; to have a group capable of executing different strategies and keep playing at a high level so long into an event is incredible.
I am incredibly proud of our team. It is so satisfying to put the time and effort into this hobby and to finally achieve our goal. Thanks to Nasomi for giving us the opportunity to play this game in this era, for free, and for letting us reach a goal from retail. We are already looking forward to the next kill. We got a Mars' Ring, a Bellona's Ring, a Minerva's Ring, and a Raphael's Rod.
