I was just curious if anyone knew why Collaborator and Accomplice Job Abilities aren't in the game for THF? They seem to be added around 2007-2008 which from what I understand is around the time that this server is trying to replicate. Anyone know why?

2008 WoTG Job Abilities.

This is a 2005/6 server, with some "late" ToAU flavors.

Abilities after ToAU aren't here on nasomi for the most part. It's a very slippery slope because if THF gets Collaborator and Accomplice then SAM gets Sekkanoki(i think it's called this, Ws costs 1k tp one), WAR gets Retaliation, etc.

Then things like Samurai being able to proc Zanshin on normal attacks while under the effect of Hasso should probably be removed, considering it wasn't added until an update in 2011 and is considered well out of era.

This pls, give SAMs more reasons to sub WAR, this /NIN meta is boring as shit.

SAMs will still sub NIN. This will just nerf the class and while it would be a change that is inline with this 'era', I'd rather see broken stuff like QD merits and Flashy Shot fixed before we begin the purge of slightly off JAs/spells.

I think its important we talk about all things not in line with the current era, as I do believe a specific era was in line with what most believed to be a balanced meta. QD merits gives approx a 16% DPS increase for Shots, and even tho Im sure Zanshin proccing off of normal hits isnt that drastic of a difference in DPS, it's still an important thing to address. One job being overpowered is an indirect nerf to all jobs in comparison to it.

Also, QD merits are working. -Nasomi :P

I wouldn't expect SAMs to keep Double-Attack-like Hasso forever. Nas has been making changes to jobs every single maint to be more in-line with this era.

We're ToAU-era now. I wouldn't expect to keep anything from WoTG era (which is why PLD doesn't have Reprisal).
