Hi,

I am currently Lv. 48. Please refresh my memory - can I start collecting the items now or do I need to ding 50 to talk to Maat?

Also, is anyone interesting in doing LB1 tonight after 8:00 PM EST. time? I'd love to tag along if anyone is planning on going.

You can get the LB1 items anytime. But it's usually best if you get lvl50 first, and cap out on EXP so you can do LB1, kill any Easy Prey to get lvl51, then go straight into LB2 and AF quests.. Much smoother way that.

Yeah, there are a few ways to transition, the two things that remain the same are:

1: you can get the items anytime
2: Maat wont take them or give you LB1 till you hit 50

So depending on how it's timed, it can be super annoying. If you are in super great XP PT with no end in sight, you will have to drop to go talk to maat once you cap as Mello suggested. If you are lucky, you just hit 50 when your PT is about to call it a night anyway, so you don't really have to put the brakes on.

I had my items pre 50, then talked to maat after i dinged.

EDIT: also note - for LB2, you can start and finish that at 51-55, LB3 56-60... and so on. So the other ones give you time to do it so you dont have to stop like Lb1.
